Investigation on lithium ion battery equivalent circuit models for dynamic load profiles

To achieve accurate prediction of the nonlinear behavior lithium-ion battery, parameters battery model play a key role for dynamic performance, hence investigated have been estimated. In this work, electrical equivalent circuit (ECM) models used to simulate INR18650-20R response at 0°C, 25°C, and 45°C, respectively. The ECM are estimated using incremental open-circuit voltage (OCV) profile Trust-Region Reflective algorithm by Non-Linear Least Squares method. experimentally validated independent current profiles including Dynamic Stress Test (DST), Federal urban driving schedule (FUDS), Beijing test (BJDST), US06 Coulomb-counting based algorithms implemented model-based online SoC estimation. with three parallel RC branches exhibits accuracy below 1.8% different temperature levels seems suitable capture dynamics batteries EV application. It is confirmed that errors resulting from significantly reduced comparatively existing published models.
